WILLIAM F. HALTERMAN...Services for William F. Halterman, 82, of El Cahon, California, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa are pending. He died Wednesday at El Cahon Valley Hospital.
He was born May 4, 1898, in Lincoln, Nebraska son of Charles and Minnie Halterman. He married Flossie Edgeton and she died in 1960. He worked for the Illinois Central Railroad for 20 years and moved to California in 1970.
Survivors include a sister, Lucy Decker, of Aurora, Illinois; 16 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law Geraldine Halterman of 1324 Fourth St. Jesup, Iowa.
