Family directed Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the Waterloo Eagle's Club (202 E. 1st St. Waterloo, Iowa)

Cemetery:
Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery

Biography--

Robert E. “Bob” Chamberlain, 91, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born April 24, 1925 in Waterloo the son of Elmer C. and Bess E. (Lemper) Chamberlain.

He was a graduate of Waterloo West High School.

Bob served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Immediately following his time in the Army he started working for the Railroad. In 1951 he began his career as a fireman for the Waterloo Fire Department where he worked until his retirement.

Following his retirement he was a self-employed antique dealer. He and his wife Leilani owned and operated The Gathering in Waterloo for many years. One of his favorite hobbies was going to auctions.

Bob is survived by his wife, Leilani Brandeland of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Willard Chamberlain and a sister Elner Edsill.
