Biography--

Norma M. Manross, age 100, of Waterloo, died on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at UnityPoint-Allen Hospital.

She was born on July 17, 1916 in Osceola, NE; the daughter of Holly H. and Minnie R. (Renner) Mills. Norma married Clarence L. Manross on May 5, 1939 in Waterloo, he preceded her in death on January 14, 1978.

She worked as a homemaker and had also worked in the canning department at Rath Packing Company.

She is survived by three sons: Jerry (Ethel) Manross of Waverly, Gary (Becky) Manross of Howell, MI, and Richard (Judy) Manross of Denver, IA; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Bonnie Bloker; four brothers: Ralph, Marion, Sidney, and Lyman Mills; two sisters, Phyllis Waskow and Lucille Hopkins; a granddaughter, Amy Manross; and a great-grandson, Chris Manross.
