Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date with full military honors

Biography--

Errol A. Miller, 69, of Evansdale, died on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Ravenwood Specialty Care under the care of Hospice Compassus.

He was born August 7, 1947 in Waterloo; the son of Cecil and Verla (Claussen) Miller.

He married Linda Diane Miller, she preceded him in death on March 11, 2014.

Errol worked as a carpenter and was self-employed for 45 years, he also worked with Menuey Home Improvement for many years. He served as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church, he was a volunteer Chaplain at Allen Hospital for 10 years. Errol enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling to Florida, painting, drawing, and reading the bible.

Errol is survived by his significant other, Pam Miller of Waterloo; a daughter, Bridget Guynn of Boyden, IA; three sons: Jimmy Miller of St. Petersburg, FL, Steven Miller of Evansdale, and David Miller of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Marian Lord of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Penny (Mike) Hardiman of Omaha, NE; Jeannie (Pete) Frauenkron of Amana, IA; and a brother, Terry (Patty) Miller of Springfield, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brothers, Cecil and Larry Miller; two sisters, Karen Burns and Elaine Byrne; and grandson, Paxton Miller.
