CEDAR FALLS, IOWA – Travis Allen McCabe, 43, of Cedar Falls died Monday, June 13, 2016 at his home.

He was born February 18, 1973 in Cedar Falls, son of John and Karen (Rogers) McCabe. He married Amanda Losh on September 9, 2001 in Cedar Falls.

He graduated from Northern University High School in 1992. He was employed with BPI and currently worked in Maintenance with Nestle’s USA in Waverly.

Travis is survived by his wife, Amanda of Cedar Falls; two sons, Jayden and Alexander McCabe, both at home; a daughter Makayla McCabe, at home; parents, John and Karen McCabe of Cedar Falls; paternal grandfather, Merlin McCabe of Cedar Falls; two sisters, Kristy (Tim) Gardner of Cedar Falls and Karrie (Brent) Cheeseman of New Hartford; two brothers, Ryan McCabe of Minnesota and Joshua (Ashley) McCabe of Colorado; nieces and nephews: Zack, Jake and Elaina Gardner, Ethan and Ryan Kanter, Braedyn McCabe, and Kaylee Cheeseman; father and mother-in-law, Allan and Rita Losh of Cedar Falls; sister-in-law, Katie (Jon) Kanter of Ipswich, MA; grandfather and grandmother-in-law, Gilbert and June Johnson.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lara McCabe; maternal grandparents, Hugh and Elsie Rogers; paternal grandmother, Mary Ann McCabe; grandfather and grandmother-in-law, Albert and Joyce Losh.

Services: Friday at Prairie Lakes Church, Cedar Falls. Visitation on Thursday at Richardson Funeral Service, and also for one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
