August 17, 1945 - July 9, 2016

Cedar Falls, Iowa – Bernard Ray Dreesman, 70, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, July 9, at Rosewood Estates in Waterloo.

He was born August 17, 1945, in rural New Hartford, the son of William and Ella (Bergman) Dreesman. He graduated from Grundy Center High School in 1963.

On July 31, 1971 he was united in marriage to Laura Jean Larson at Glenwood Lutheran Church in rural Decorah. He worked for Viking Pump in Cedar Falls for 38 years.

Bernard is survived by his wife; a daughter, Tina (Duane) Kitchen of Cherry Valley, IL; a sister, DeLores (Larry) Ressler of Waterloo; and a brother, Ronald Dreesman of Solon.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private inurnment will be Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls.
