EVANSDALE, IOWA – Wilbert W. Neuenkirk, 74, of Evansdale, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

He was born March 30, 1942, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, son of Wilbert J. and Clara Mae (Mason) Neuenkirk. He married Hazel M. Orr on May 9, 1975 in Reno, Nevada.

He was employed as a truck driver with Waterloo Warehousing and Service Company.

Wilbert is survived by his wife, Hazel; three daughters: Jeanne (Joe) Munzberg of South Carolina, Connie Neuenkirk of Colorado, and Shawnell (Rick) Milbourn of Washington; four sons: Duane (Nikki) of Colorado, Roger (Patty) of California, Jerry (Barbara) of Colorado, and Wilbert (Alicia) of California; 16 grandchildren: Rebecca, Michelle, Kristina, Brittine, Andrew, Arianna, Cassidy, Alex, Jason, Denise, Nicholas, Shanteal, Ryleigh, Kambria, Hunter, and Claire; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Haning of Altoona and LaDonna Neuenkirk of Waterloo; brother, Francis (Wanda) Neuenkirk of Winterset and a step brother, Danny (Terry) Pettit of Evansdale.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Leroy Neuenkirk.

Graveside Services Wednesday at Hillside Cemetery in Cedar Falls, with visitation for one hour prior to the service at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls.
