CEDAR FALLS, IOWA – Donald C. Williams Jr, 68, of Cedar Falls died Sunday, November 27, 2016 at his home.

He was born May 9, 1948, in Rochester, New York, son of Donald C. and Mildred Josephine (Klafehn) Williams. He married Ave Phillips on June 15, 1977 in Waterloo. He was employed as a head custodian with the University of Northern Iowa.

He is survived by his wife of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Kayla (David) Miner of Cedar Rapids; Dawn (Russell O’Neal) Shelley of Muscatine; one granddaughter, Alyssa O’Neal; two step granddaughters, Renee Miner and Rebecca Haughe; two step great-grandchildren, Skyla Beck, Alaiya Taylor; and two sisters, Midge (Roger Hoeppner) Hoppes of Waterloo and Laura Eisenbacher of Armstrong.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents.

Services: Thursday at Richardson Funeral Service with burial in Hillside Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation on Wednesday and also for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
