CEDAR FALLS, IOWA – Mary Ellen Fosse, 90, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center, Cedar Falls.

She was born April 1, 1927 in Kellogg, Iowa, daughter of Rosco J. Pierce and Anna Corley Pierce. She married Lloyd “Bud” Fosse on October 23, 1948, in Cedar Falls.

She graduated from Teachers College High School (NU High) and was employed with Clay Equipment in Cedar Falls and Waterloo Savings Bank. She was a member of the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post #49 Auxiliary and served as the AMVETS Auxiliary State Chaplain from 1969 to 1971.

Survived by her husband of Cedar Falls; a brother, Rosco L. (Jacqueline) Pierce of Cedar Falls; a nephew, Erick Pierce; and a niece, Debra Pierce.

Memorial Services: Monday at Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Visitation for one hour prior to the service at the church. Richardson Funeral Service is assisting the family.
