Biography--

Larry K. Daniels, 68, of Dike, Iowa, died at Covenant Medical Center on Monday, June 27, 2016 of an aneurysm.
 
Larry Keith Daniels was born May 10, 1948, in San Bernardino, California, son of Robert and Millie Skaim Daniels.
 
He served in the U.S. Army during Viet Nam.
 
He graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1966, Bachelors from UNI in 1970, and graduate work at Iowa State University receiving his Masters from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
 
He married Linda Krizek on February 15, 2003 in Las Vegas.
 
Larry taught in high schools including Waterloo Columbus, Sac City, Belmond, and Waterloo Expo. He coached track & field at Columbus, Sac City, Belmond and Iowa State; volleyball at East High; and golf at West High.
 
Survivors include his wife, Linda of Dike; daughter, Jennifer Davis of La Porte City, Iowa; son, Josh (Lauren) Daniels of Ankeny, Iowa; son, Jordan (Danielle) Daniels of Belmond, Iowa; stepson, Jason (Katie) Krizek of Cedar Falls, Iowa; stepson, Kevin (Angi) Krizek of Overland Park, Kansas; 15 grandchildren: Laikyn, Allison, Darian, Kain, Isaac, Zane, Griffin, Trey, Faith, Jade, Addison, Adam, Maddox, Zane and Shay; one great‑grandchild, Logan; his father, Robert Daniels, and brothers, Dennis (Barb) Daniels and Tom (Mary) Daniels, all of Waterloo.
 
He is preceded in death by his mother.
