Biography--

Linda S. Crook, 67, of Waterloo, died Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born May 18, 1949 in Waterloo. She married David V. "Dave" Crook February 12, 1972 in Waterloo. He died June 25, 2011. Linda graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1967 and attended AIC for Paralegal. She was the Office Manager at Hurst & Sons in Waterloo for many years, retiring in the last year.

Linda enjoyed being a Mother and a Grandmother. She loved going camping and fishing and spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Katrina Crook‑Murray, of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Cody and Audrey Murray, and Tryston Crook; a sister, Sandra (Robert) Stokes, of Parkersburg, Iowa; Mother‑in‑law, Dorothy Crook, of Waterloo; three brothers‑in‑law, Steven (Stephanie) Crook, Dan (Diana) Crook, and Jim (Lori) Rhoads, all of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews.​

She was preceded in death by a son, Brian Crook, father‑in‑law, Verlin Crook, her Grandmother who raised her, Dorothy Ellsworth, and a sister‑in‑law, Mary Jo Rhoads.
