His body will be cremated following services with interment at a later date

Biography--

Noel Edward Morris, 51, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at UnityPoint Health--Allen Hospital on Monday, February 6, 2017 of complications of diabetes. He was born July 22, 1965 in Waterloo, the son of Bob A. and Joann I. Carman Morris.

Noel graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1983 and attended Iowa Central Community College in Ft. Dodge. He was a salesman and wholesaler for several car dealerships in the Cedar Valley area. He married Connie Cooley and they later divorced. Noel was a Harley enthusiast and always looked forward to a motorcycle ride. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Falling Rock Walleye Club in Lynxville, Wisconsin, and was also an avid Chicago Bears fan.

He is survived by his four children: son, Derrick Tangen, daughter, Nicole Morris, son, Noel "JR" (Jasmine) Morris, and son, Nathaniel Morris, all of Waterloo; four grandchildren: Skyler, Julia, Emmalee and Leah; his mother, Joann Wahner of Cedar Falls; and step mother, Judy Morris of Waterloo. Noel is also survived by many siblings: his brothers, Jeff (Wendy) Morris and Mike (Deb Peters) Morris, both of Lansing, Iowa; step sister, Shari Tritch of Chaska, Minnesota; step sister, Cathy Dykeman of Waterloo; step brother, Kenny Dykeman of Albuquerque, New Mexico; step brother, Bill Wahner Jr. of Sumner, Iowa; step sister, Suzanne Garber of Dunkerton, Iowa; and step brother, Tom Wahner of Washta, Iowa.

Noel was preceded in death by his father, Bob A. Morris, grandparents, and stepfather, William Wahner Sr.
