Biography--

Patricia Ann Welch, 77 of Urbandale, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died at the Senior Suites of Urbandale on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. She was born on October 12, 1939 in Waterloo, daughter of Galen and Genevieve Holloway Stark. Patricia graduated from West Waterloo High School in 1957 and then attended ISU in Ames. She married Craig Welch on December 17, 1990; he died in 2000.

She worked for the Waterloo Courier, Rasmussen Furniture in Waterloo and then Welch Furniture in Mason City and retired in 2000 from U.S. West. She attended First Baptist Church, Waterloo

Patricia is survived by her children: Jennifer (Kevin) Dougherty of West Des Moines, Jeffrey (Beth) Welch of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, Jason (Michelle) Welch of Waukee, Jocelyn Welch of Minneapolis, and by Jonathan Welch of Los Angeles, CA; and by 11 grandchildren.

Patricia is preceded in death by her son, Curtis Craig Welch in infancy and two brothers, Eugene and Ron Stark
