Biography--

Shirley Ann Sherwood, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at NewAldaya Lifescapes. She was born August 13, 1930 in Waterloo the daughter of Guy and Dorothy (Dutton) Whitlatch. She graduated from High School in Indiana. She married James C. Sherwood Sr. on July 1, 1951, in Waterloo.

She worked as a Cost Accountant at Hinson Manufacturing.

Survived by: two sons, James (Deb) Sherwood Jr. of Cedar Falls, Joe Sherwood of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Jamie (Jim) Campion of Lakeville, Minnesota, Julie (Kent) Patterson of Evansdale; twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Robert Whitlatch, Marvin and Charles Brown; and by three sisters: Thelma Vajda, Anna Mae Billings and Patricia Bass.
