Biography--

Arlo Eugene Engstrom, 68, of Waterloo, died at home on Friday, April 29, 2016.

Arlo was born on May 13, 1947 in Waterloo, son of Eugene Warren and La Vonne Elaine (Ehrig) Engstrom.

He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1966. Arlo worked as a technician for Motor Rewinding.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by two sisters, Jill Smith of Waterloo and Marie (Fred) Nolting of Corinth, Texas; two brothers, Craig (Patrice) Engstrom and Tim (Kristi) Engstrom, both of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews.

Arlo was preceded in death by his parents and one brother‑in‑law, Stephen Smith.
