Biography--
Mary Lou De Booy-Junge, 72, of Waterloo, died Monday, April 18, 2016 at Unity Point Health - Allen Hospital from complications of a stroke.
She was born March 22, 1944 and was adopted at birth from the Soldiers Home in Iowa City by Cyrenus and Neva (Wheeler) De Booy.
She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and worked as a Legal Secretary in Court Administration for the State of Minnesota and she also worked for John Deere for 28 years.
She married Robert Junge on October 30, 1992 at First Presbyterian Church in Waterloo.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Ladies Circle, and is a Pony Express Rider.
She is survived by her husband, Robert of Waterloo; one daughter, Sara (Tom) Finch of South Carolina; one son, Brian Junge of Des Moines; two grandchildren: Morgan Finch of North Carolina and Jackie Finch of Myrtle Beach, Florida; and one great-granddaughter, Julianne Finch.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents.
