George Lindeman

Biography--

George Lindeman, 88 of Waterloo, died Friday March 4, 2016 at his home.

He was born May 5, 1927, son of Frank and Hattie (Fisher) Lindeman. He graduated from Waterloo West High School, attended the University of Northern Iowa and received his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Iowa.

George married Regena McKone in Waterloo on February 19, 1955.

He is survived by his wife, Regena of Waterloo; two daughters, Sarah Lindeman of Cincinnati, Ohio and Patricia Lindeman of Chicago, Illinois; two sons, William Lindeman of Waterloo and Michael (Sherry) Lindeman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and by three grandchildren: Georgia Gardner, Donovan Gardner, and Olivia Lindeman; and by two sisters, Luella Sharon of Wisconsin and Jean Boenkhe of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his son, Paul Lindeman.

Services:
A Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Locke Funeral Home.
