A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016, at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, Waterloo, Iowa.

Biography--

Joseph David St. John, 59, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died on Friday, February 26, 2016, at his home following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born on October 30, 1956, in Waterloo, the son of Robert and Elizabeth (Goswiller) St. John.

He married Teri Fox on September 5, 1980, and they later divorced. He then married Penny Ahlhelm on February 23, 1996, they later divorced. Joe attended Central High School in Waterloo. He worked with structural steel as a welder for Grosse Steel Company.

He is survived by: his long-time companion, Tammy Boyer of Cedar Falls; six brothers, Steve (Pat) St. John of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Kenny (Pam) St. John of Waterloo, Mike (Michael) St. John of West Des Moines, Gary St. John of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tim (Maria) St. John of Waterloo, and Rick St. John of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Julia St. John in infancy; and a nephew, Eric St. John in infancy.
