Biography--

Myrna K. Hottle, 75 of Waterloo, Iowa, died at Banner Desert Medical Center, Mesa, Arizona, on Friday, February 19, 2016.

She was born on November 25, 1940 in Dewar, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Irene Nicol. Myrna graduated from Orange Township High School, rural Waterloo.

She married Ray E. Hottle on June 27, 1959, at Grace Fellowship Church (formerly Grace Brethren) where they are still members. Myrna worked at Sears until working on the farm and becoming a homemaker. She had also worked at Happy Time Daycare.

Survived by her husband, Ray Hottle of Waterloo; three sons, Steven Hottle of Cedar Falls, Scott (Beth) Hottle, and Shawn (Andrea) Hottle, both of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Molly (Nigel) Duara of Phoenix, Arizona, Jared Hottle of Madison, South Dakota, Olivia (Jonathan) Mossman of Atlanta, Georgia, Dakota Hottle of Ames, Alexander Hottle of Waterloo, and Blake Hottle of Waterloo; three sisters, Ramona Edgerton, Carole Mountain, and Marilyn (John) Mountain, all of Waterloo; and a sister-in-law, Sue Nicol.

Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Marvin "Bud" Nicol.

Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Grace Fellowship Church, 1760 Williston Ave., Waterloo, Iowa.
