WATERLOO, IOWA - De'Paris Micheal Xavier Gillam, 15, of Waterloo, died Friday, January 29, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, of natural causes.

He was born October 17, 2000, in Waterloo, son of Alvin Gillam and Eugenia Marie Wright. De'Paris was an eighth-grade student at Central Middle School.

Survived by: his parents, Alvin of Iowa Falls and Eugenia of Waterloo; three brothers, Toreon White of Waterloo, and Manuel and Jessie Arroyo, both of Grand Rapids, Mich.; five sisters, Justina, Quajsha and Zaya Gillam, all of Cedar Falls, and Hayley Fisher and Anglene Garrett, both of Waterloo; maternal grandmother, Norma O'Neal of Charleston, Ind.; and paternal grandfather, Kelly Miller Sr. of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his paternal grandmother, Delores Gillam.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at Greer Funeral Home, preceded by an hour of visitation, followed by committal services.
