Fairbank, Iowa – Eileen Eleanor Fratzke, 97 of rural Fairbank, died Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at ABCM Rehabilitation Center Independence – East Campus, Independence, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. – Saturday, February 13, 2016, at the Grace Lutheran Church, Jesup, Iowa, with burial at Fairbank Cemetery, Fairbank, Iowa. Visitation will be for an hour before services Saturday February 13, 2016, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Jesup. Memorials will be directed to charities.

Mrs. Fratzke was born November 22, 1918, north of Dunkerton, in Black Hawk County, Iowa, the daughter of Charles Edward Moulds and Kathryn Marie (Niebuhr) Moulds. Following high school she earned a teaching certificate at Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She then taught in rural schools and one year in Fairbank before her marriage to Harold Louis Fratzke on May 15, 1945, in Fairbank, Iowa. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Jesup.

Mrs. Fratzke is survived by one daughter, Marie (Jerry) Weber of Elkader, Iowa; two sons, Don L. Fratzke of rural Fairbank, Iowa, Clark (Donna) Fratzke of rural Independence, Iowa; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Heth of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Lois (David) Enyart of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Beverly Morris of Waterloo, Iowa; also one brother, Charles Moulds of Fairbank, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 sons, Gerald D. Fratzke, Gene L. Fratzke, and Allan H. Fratzke; two sisters, one in infancy and Doris Weiden; and two brothers
