Jeree Hope Taber Faulkner

September 7, 1925 - February 5, 2016

Jeree Hope Taber Faulkner, 90, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died Friday, February 5, 2016, at Copper Village in Mesa.

She was born September 7, 1925 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Theola (Lester) Taber. Jeree married Garrott LeRoy Faulkner on June 2, 1946 in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on February 4, 2011.

Jeree graduated from East Waterloo High School and Brownings Bible College & Seminary. She worked at Kresges Department Store for 12 years and was an ordained minister for 17 years, retiring in 1997. She also farmed near Parkersburg, Iowa for several years. Jeree enjoyed playing the organ and keyboard at both her church and for the Independence Senior Center and charitable organizations. She also spoke to and led prayer groups.

Jeree is survived by her daughter, Scarlett D. (Douglas) Ohde, of Grand Lake, Colorado, a son-in-law, Charles Kemmerer, and a granddaughter, Heather (Zachary) Warakomski, of Woodbridge, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a daughter, Rebecca A. Kemmerer; four sisters, Eileen McCabe, Eloise Boots, Doris Ksinan, Margaret Kondora, and a brother, Jack Taber.
