Robert Leroy Morgan

January 5, 1944 - January 27, 2016

Robert Leroy Morgan, 72 of Waterloo, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born January 5, 1944 in Waterloo, son of Gale and Barbara Loppnow Morgan. He married Barbara Brandenburg and later divorced. He married Janene Peters and later divorced, he married Linda Fauser and later divorced.

Bob graduated from NIACC and UNI with Elementary Education and was a teacher of Industrial Arts at Castle Hill, Eddison Jr. High, West High and Hoover Middle School for 12 years. He was also self-employed cabinet, furniture maker and wood worker.

He served four years with the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of Cedar Valley Community Church for 55 years, played on the Church Softball league for 22 years and coached for four years, coached high school wrestling, assistant football coach, East volleyball coach, and coached football, baseball and volleyball at McKinstry and Hoover Middle Schools.

Survived by a son, Jason (Angela) of Fountain Hills, Arizona; two daughters, Celane (Jim) Hauser of Stout and Lynae Morgan of Waterloo; nine grandchildren: Macy and Asher Morgan, Kaitlyn Pryor, Katryna, Joshua, Amber and Morgan Hauser, Kyla and Riley Morgan; a sister, Gail (Craig) Barber of Waterloo; a brother, Daryl (Kathy) Morgan of Waterloo; and several nephews and nieces.

Preceded in death by; his parents and a nephew, Troy Barber.

Family Conducted Memorial Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29 at Cedar Valley Community Church with family receiving friends one hour before services.
