Biography--

Marlene G. Maring, 63, of Waterloo, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at her home unexpectedly of a heart attack.

She was born on December 27, 1952 in Waterloo, daughter of Gordon L. and Dorthy Sonsor Maring.

She graduated from West High School in 1971. Marlene worked at John Deere for 35 years, retiring in 2015.

She is survived by her three brothers: Glenn Maring, Arthur Maring, and James Maring, all of Waterloo; and two nephews, Ashtin and Alexander.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Maring.
