Biography--
Charles W. Renkel, 74, of Gassville, Arkansas, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Mercy Hospital - Springfield, Springfield, Missouri.

Charles was born August 9, 1941, in Sioux City, Iowa, son of William and Violet Kassenbaum Renkel. He worked as a machinist at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works until his retirement. He moved to Arkansas after his retirement.

Injuries Sustained

Victim was fatally injured in the crash, but it is not clear if he died at the scene, or after being taken to a nearby hospital.

The SUV the victim was driving crashed and rolled for reasons currently under investigation.

State Police named 74-year-old Charles Renkel as the driver that died in a solo-vehicle wreck in Marion County, Arkansas on December 16th, 2015. Right now, police have reason to believe that the SUV he was driving crashed and rolled off the side of Co Rd 6064. Renkel was pronounced dead shortly after the wreck.
