Obituary for Christine Comeau

Christine Dubois Comeau died at 100 years old on December 27, 2015.

She was born April 28, 1915, in Ste. Sylvere, Quebec, Canada. She married Adrien Comeau Nov. 19, 1949, in Montreal. The two moved to Massena, New York, where they raised six children. Adrien grew a garden, and Christine cooked with his harvest. Family and friends remember Christine’s rhubarb cake.

The couple loved God and remained lifelong members of the Catholic Church. Adrien died in 1999. Christine spent the end of her life at the Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She has 19 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and another on the way.

No services will be held locally.
