A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel.

Biography--

Curtis Lee Macomber, 41, of Waterloo, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at UnityPoint Allen Hospital of natural causes.

He was born December 9, 1973 in Waterloo, the son of Ricky and Nancy (Potter) Macomber. He attended high school at Waterloo East High School.

Curt worked as a Maintenance/Handy man and also had been a Roofer for many years.

Survived by his parents, Ricky and Nancy Macomber of Evansdale; one sister, Cathy Jensen of Waterloo; two nieces, Brandi and Brittni Jensen; one nephew, Brandon Jensen and several aunts and uncles.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Nelda Macomber and maternal grandparents, George and Avice Potter.

Curt was a lifelong Star Wars fan, loved watching Hawkeye games with his friends and playing golf with his grandpa’s clubs. He will be greatly missed.
