Biography--

Keith A. Deibler, 84, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa and Wichita, Kansas, died at Windsor Nursing & Rehab Center on Saturday, November 28, 2015 of complications of cancer.

He was born January 26, 1931 in Iowa Falls, Iowa, son of Charles and Mabel Slattenow Deibler. Keith graduated from West Waterloo High School in 1949 and University of Iowa with a Business Degree in 1957. He had served in the United States Navy.

He married Gwynette Hughes on April 11, 1959 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Waterloo.

He worked for several years at John Deere Engine Works and then went to Boeing Co. in Wichita in the engineering department, retiring in 1993.

He and Gwen were active at Goddard United Methodist Church, Goddard, Kansas and volunteered with several organizations. Together, they attended Orchard Hill Church, Cedar Falls. Keith enjoyed gardening, photography and especially his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Gwen of Cedar Falls, son, David (Barb Schilf) Deibler of Cedar Falls, daughter, Debbie (Mike) Hooper of Orlando, Florida; grandsons: Brandon (Amy) Deibler of Wichita and Owen Deibler of Cedar Falls, great-granddaughter, Shaylee Hope Deibler; his sister, Diane (Ron Tonn) Carson of Brandon, Iowa; and sister-in-law, Janelle Deibler of DeSoto, Texas.

Keith is preceded by his parents and brother, Mason.
