Evelyn H. Fauser was born on February 22, 1924 to Herman and Olive (Trumbauer) Rudolph, in Dunkerton, Iowa. She graduated from Dunkerton High School.

Evelyn married Paul Fauser on April 4, 1948. Before Paul’s passing in 1992 the family loved spending time together gardening. Evelyn moved in with her daughter and son-in-law after Paul’s death and had lived with them for the last twenty years.

She loved that she was able to spend time with her daughter. Evelyn’s life was her family. She loved being a grandmother and great grandmother, and while her grandchildren were growing up, she would watch them while her daughter was at work.
Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul; her brother, Russell Rudolph; and her sister; Grace Ingamells.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Colleen (Elroy) Rowenhorst; two grandchildren: Sarah (Michael) Clausman and Paul Rowenhorst; four great-grandchildren: Emma, Andrew, Jackson and Ella Clausman; and her sister, Buelah (Alex) Novak.
