At a later dateRonald “Ronnie” Daniels was born October 23, 1943 in Waterloo: the son of Clyde and Betty (Stutt) Daniels. He worked as a farm hand at Santman Farms in Dysart, where he met Marcia Bross. The two were married in 1967 in Van Horne; they were later divorced. Ron worked at Waterloo Industries and John Deere in the foundry. He did many side jobs which included sandblasting, mowing and painting. Ron liked watching WWE Wrestling and mysteries including House and Murder She Wrote, he always had to be home in time on Sunday’s after church to watch NASCAR. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards and he had a great social life. Ron attended Immanuel Lutheran Church, and he was really looking forward to moving into their new church home.
Ron passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Unity Point Health Allen Memorial at the age of 72 from a sudden illness due to pneumonia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Clyde Jr., Lyle and Keith; and a sister, Bonnie Gonzales.
Ron is survived by his three children: Rita (Patrick) Heideman of Carol Stream, Illinois, their children: Jonathan, William, Laura and Molly, Mark (Sue) Daniels of San Antonio, Texas, their children: Garrett, Logan and Hannah, and Kendall (Jennifer) Daniels of LaPorte City, and their children: Grant and Taylor; a brother Richard (Nancy) Daniels of Cedar Falls; and five sisters: Marie Daniels, Debbie Daniels, Ethel Gates, Phyllis (Dave) Morehouse and Anita Kinard all of Waterloo.
