Jean Elizabeth Stone, 95, of Waterloo, died Thursday, November 12, at the Affinity House.
She was born June 15, 1920, in Waterloo, the daughter of Robert and Irmel Hopkins Condon. She married Claude M. Stone on November 16, 1940, in Greeley and he died April 2, 2004.
Jean graduated from Manchester High School in 1938 and attended the University of Dubuque for one year.
Survivors include three sons: Terry (Joan) Stone of Decorah, Robert (Kathy) Stone of Ankeny, and Don (Brenda) Stone of Gilbertville; three daughters: Barbara (Virgil) Nelson of Dakota City, Pam (Andrew) Thomas and Dianne (Dan) Rubendall all of Waterloo; 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by her son Ron and her brother, Don Condon.
Services: 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 16, at Memorial Park Chapel with burial in the cemetery. Public visitation one hour prior to services Monday at the chapel. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.
