Rosemary E. Fliss, 72, of Waterloo, died Saturday, November 21, at UnityPoint-Allen Hospital.

She was born June 21, 1943, in Waterloo, daughter of Donald and Elaine Gordon Sage. She married Ronald Garrod in 1966 in Waterloo. He died in 1967. She later married Norbert Fliss on July 15, 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later divorced.

Rosemary graduated from Gates Business College. She was employed with Home Shopping Network and later with Bertch Cabinet until retirement. Following retirement she was a senior companion.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Garrod of Waterloo; a daughter, Mary Fliss-Olmstead of Waterloo; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; four brothers, Eddie (Juanita) Sage of Cedar Falls, Ernie (Virginia) Sage of Dunkerton, Robert Sage of Oelwein and Tom (Pearl) Sage of Pine Grove, California; a sister, Ethel Adsit of Fort Collins, Colorado; and a sister-in-law, Beverly Sage of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: a daughter, Terri Schall; and a brother, Donald Sage.

Services will be Wednesday at New Beginnings First Wesleyan Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway and at the church for one hour before services on Wednesday.
