Biography--

Thomas Orrin Taylor, 82, of Cedar Falls died Friday, November 28, 2014, at his home.

He was born January 27, 1932, in Cottonwood, Arizona, the son of Harness and Esta (Polk) Taylor. He married Leona Vernell Mickey, January 20, 1964, in Chandler, Arizona. Thomas served in the U.S. Air Force and was a truck driver for Basha’s Grocery Store for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Leona, of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Deborah Kay (Lee) Morrison, of Evansdale, Iowa and Della Vernell (Raymond) Mosher of Waterloo, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, David Taylor and Allen Taylor, both of Arizona, and three sisters, Marlyn Felix, of Chandler, Arizona, Carlyn Shelly, of Arizona, and Jean Bridges, of Tucson, Arizona.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; three sons: David Trainor, Donald Trainor and Brian Taylor; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one brother, Stanley Taylor.
