Arthur W. Fasse, 58, Rt. 3, died Wednesday in Allen Memorial Hospital of a heart ailment.

He was born Jan. 7. 1895, and spent all his life in Black Hawk County, farming in Bennington Township.

He was a veteran of World War I, serving overseas with the Sunset division. He was a member of First Lutheran Church at Waterloo, Waterloo lodge No. 105, AF&AM. and Tabernacle chapter. Royal Arch Masons, at Waterloo, and Peter Kress post, American Legion, at Dunkerton.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Jean Storey, Reinbeck; one son, DeWayne, at home; three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Lutheran Church, with Rev. Bruno Schlachtenhaufen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Midwest Garden of Memories.

The body will be at Matthias Funeral Home at Denver until 12:30 p.m. Saturday, when it will be taken to the church.

He married Katherine Anne Mohr Sept. 7, 1921, in Spencer.
