Biography--

Margie Lee Sullivan, 84, of Denver, formerly of Waterloo died at Denver Sunset Nursing Home, on Thursday April 16, 2015 of complications of Alzheimer’s.

Margie was born on November 27, 1930 in College Springs, Iowa, the daughter of Virgil and Zelda (Thompson) Ellsworth.

She married Edward William Sullivan January 14, 1951, in College Springs, Iowa. He preceded her in death July 4, 1997.

Margie worked for the Logan Avenue Ben Franklin Store for 27 years.

She is survived by three sons: Michael (Sandra) Sullivan of Waterloo, Iowa, Frederick Sullivan of Waterloo, Iowa, and William Sullivan of Waterloo, Iowa; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Donald Ellsworth of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and two sisters: Mary (Bob) Bighler of Altoona, Iowa and Helen Spangler of Phoenix, Arizona.

Margie was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; brother Warren Ellsworth; and daughter‑in‑law Sally Sullivan.
