Biography--

Donna Ann Bronner, 82, of Waterloo, died at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics on Tuesday June 30, 2015. She was born on February 27, 1933 in Winona, Minn. the daughter of Donald and Helen (Warnken) Bublitz.

Donna attended Hawkeye Institute of Technology for a Business Office diploma. She married Jerome Bronner and they later divorced. Donna enjoyed her work in retail sales.

Donna was a devoted mother and cherished her time with family. Taking care of others was her top priority. She enjoyed talking on the phone and gardening. Donna was fond of pets, especially Piper the parakeet. Donna was a big fan of Lawrence Welk, Guy Lombardo and the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. She was known by all for her kind, sweet and gentle disposition.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Jordan of Waterloo; a son, Randy Bronner of Woden, Iowa; five sisters, Laurene Thorson of Waterloo, Marilyn Berning of Rochester, Minnesota, Judy Bublitz of Austin, Minnesota, Beverly Roland of Rochester, Minn., and Carol Sikkink of Austin, Minnesota.

Donna was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Allen Bronner; a daughter, Sharon Kay Bronner Brown; and twin sister Doris Brandt.
