Biography--

Timothy “Tim” John Kessell, age 40, of Waterloo, died Friday, October 16, 2015 at UnityPoint Allen Hospital.

He was born June 30, 1975 in Waterloo, the son of Steven James and Cathy Ann Beckman Kessell. Tim graduated from Waterloo East High School with the Class of 1993.

Tim worked as a shift manager at the Burger King restaurant near Tower Park in Waterloo. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and WWE fan.

Survivors include his father, Steven J. Kessell of Shell Rock; his mother, Cathy A. (Daron) Jacobs of Traer, Iowa; a brother, Jeffrey J. Kessell of Waterloo; two nephews, Cody Kessell and Zach Kessell and a niece, Angel Marcus; and an aunt, Jeanne (Charles) Koontz of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
