James “Jim” Stow

March 8, 1939 to July 13, 2015

James “Jim” Stow was born March 8, 1939 in Waterloo, Iowa: the son of Robert and Lucy (Smith) Stow. He was united in marriage to Karen (Watts) Zell on March 23, 1993 in Waterloo, Iowa. Jim worked at John Deere in Waterloo for over 30 years.

Jim passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-son Michael Zell and a granddaughter Katie Kruse.

Jim is survived by his wife Karen of Dunkerton; a son Bryan (Renee) Stow of Deltona, Florida; two daughters: Terri (Steve) Shennett of Deltona, Florida and Robin (Paul) McGee of Altoona, Iowa.; a step-son Mark (Donna) Zell of Sumner, Iowa; a step-daughter Marci Ingersoll of Wellsburg, Iowa; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
