Jean M. Ulrick was born August 19, 1931 to Carl and Kathryn (Miller) Berend in Waterloo. She married Robert Ulrick at the Little Brown Church in 1961. Jean worked for Ravenwood Specialty Care as a nurse’s aide for over 50 years. She was a supporter of local charitable organizations, and she was a long time member of the Salvation Army Church.

Jean passed away on November 2, 2015 at Hospice Inpatient Care Unit in Louisville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert; her brother Jack Berend; and her daughter Diane Clark. Jean is survived by her son Steven (Alma) Schwarz of Radcliff, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; two sisters: Caroline Wright of Eagle Grove and Marjorie Elliott of Jesup.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend; she will be missed by all who knew her.
