CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Dawn M. Kelly, 56, of Cedar Falls died Monday, April 20, 2015, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born August 28, 1958 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, daughter of Horace and Frances (Larson) Lantz. She married Steve Kelly on December 27, 1980 in Somers, Iowa.

She earned her BA degree from the University of Northern Iowa and then her MA degree in Speech and Language in 1981. She was a Speech and Language Pathologist for AEA 267.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; a son, Monte (Erica) of Colorado Springs, CO; a daughter, Christy (AJ) Manfull of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Lincoln and Dallas Manfull; her father, Horace Lantz of Ames; four sisters: Diane (Craig) Mack of Ames, Debbie (Doug) Schooley of Watertown, SD, Denise (Fred) Walker of Shueyville, and Donna Sue (Pete) Carroll of Waukee; and a brother, Dana (Daisey) Lantz of Fort Dodge.

She was preceded in death by her mother; and a sister, Doreen Counsell.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Orchard Hill Church with inurnment at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Service, and also for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date.
