Claudia M. Koch (1948-2015)

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Claudia M. Koch, 66, of Lamont, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

She was born December 22, 1948, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Richard and Darlene (Blair) Feckers. She married Steve Hatcher in November 1967 and they later divorced. She then married Randy Koch on June 26, 2010.

She worked at Eagles grocery store, B & R Meats, Covenant Medical Center, Hub City Brewery in Oelwein and Viafield in Lamont, in addition to being a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Randy of Lamont; her mother, of Burnsville, Minnesota; two daughters, Michelle (Tom) Weaver of Cleveland, Tennessee, and Angie (Chuck) Penticoff of Cedar Falls; three step daughters, Jennifer (Jon) King of Bernard, Alicia (JJ) Connolly of Epworth and Amanda (Mark) Priebe of Juneau, Wisconsin; two step sons, Dustin (Mamie) Koch of Puerto Rico and Christopher (Amanda) Koch of Pensacola, Florida; five grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Feckers of Sumner and Richard (Kathy) Feckers Jr of Wyoming, Iowa; a sister, Connie (Frank) Ripka of Apple Valley, Minnesota; brother-in-law, Dave (Linda) Koch of Benton, Kansas; three sisters-in-law, Cindy (Mark) Burlage of Kinross, Amy (Jim) Ries of Hopkinton and Kari (Troy) Burger of Manchester.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Services: Saturday at Richardson Funeral Service with inurnment at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lamont. Visitation Friday at the funeral home and also for one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Her wishes will be carried out in the Smokey Mountains.
