Leonard (Chris) Rademacker (1954-2015)

BRANDON- Leonard Chris Rademacker, 60, of Brandon, formerly of Sioux City, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at his home in Brandon.

He was born August 13, 1954, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Leonard and Darline (Sappingfield) Rademacker. He married Cyndee Weber and they later divorced. He then married Lisa Henry on September 7, 1991 in Cedar Falls.

He worked for John Deere in the Foundry and Downtown Component Works for 33 years, retiring in 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa of Brandon; two daughters, Nicole Rademacker and Amber (Travis) Wilson, both of Brandon; two sons, Casey Rademacker of Waterloo and Cody Rademacker of Independence; four grandchildren: Brayden and Tayler Wilson, Blake Toms and Avah VanDorn; two sisters, Nancy Phillips and Linda (Craig) Herbold, both of Sioux City; and mother-in-law, Verlene (Roger) Damon of Parkersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family Directed Celebration of Life will be held from 12 to 4 p.m. Saturday May 30th at the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post #49.

Memorials may be directed to family.
