John “Pat” Morris (1942-2015)

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - John “Pat” Morris, 73, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Maple Manor Village in Aplington.

He was born January 10, 1942, in Cedar Falls, son of John and Jane (Osborn) Morris. He married Vickie Shipp on January 10, 1964, in Cedar Falls, and they later divorced.

He was a truck driver for Standard Forwarding.

He is survived by his mother, Jane Morris of Aplington; four daughters: Colette (Rocky Sanderson) Morris of Steamboat Rock, Amy Morris of Cedar Falls, Amanda (Scott) Klammer of Denver, and Tiffany Morris of Waterloo; four grandsons: Zachary Groeneveld, Gabe Aebersold, Quinn and Carter Klammer; two granddaughters, Corina Aebersold and Morgan Klammer; four sisters: Mary (Fred) Jackson of Bedford, Rita Markussen of Frederika, Patty (Wendell Bantz) Morris of Plainfield, and Cathy (Ken) Schneider of Shell Rock; a brother, Orville (Chj) Morris of Cedar Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Tom Morris.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls. Private inurnment at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Cedar Falls.
