Obituary for Mary Kay Collins

February 1, 1948 - October 20, 2015

WATERLOO, IOWA - Mary Kay Collins, 67, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Unity Point Health - Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

She was born February 1, 1948 in Milan, Illinois, daughter of Purn Allen and Effie Marie (Kenney) Willits. She married Michael Searl; they later divorced. She married Richard Coulter; they later divorced. She then married Orlo “Kay” Collins on April 3, 1982 in Waterloo.

She worked for many years as a CNA and retired from the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

Survived by: her husband; two daughters, Kimberly K. Urbano of Waterloo and Melissa (Tim) Goers of Oskaloosa: a son, Michael A. Searl of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; a sister, Ella Jump of Alamo, TX; a brother, Gary R. Willits of Aledo, IL.

Preceded in death by: her parents; two sisters, Wanda Matthews and Shirley Maynard; and four brothers, Curtis, Larry, Richard, and Chester Willits.

Receiving of Friends: 12 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Miner School Alano Society (2513 Center Street, CF). Richardson Funeral Service is assisting the family.
