Dolores M. Lantz

May 17, 1921 - November 29, 2014

Dolores M. Lantz, 93, of Gilbertville, died Saturday, Nov. 29, at Northcrest Health Services, Waterloo.

She was born May 17, 1921 near Gilbertville, daughter of Leo M. and Magdalene Demuth Wagner. She married Shirlie G. Lantz, October 7, 1946 in Gilbertville. He died in 2001.

Dolores worked at Rath Packing Co. for 33 years as a data processor, retiring in May, 1981.

She is survived by a sister, Theresa (Wayne) Hoofnagle of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: Bernard, Jerome and Vince Wagner; and by three sisters: Margaret O’Connell, Juanita Wagner and Lorraine Neisen.

Services: Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Gilbertville. Public visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation will continue for one hour before services at the church.
