Eli Joseph Leitz, two months old, died Monday, December 1, 2014, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, Iowa.

He was born September 30, 2014, in Waterloo, the son of Blake Leitz and Jennifer Knutson.

Survivors include his parents of Waterloo; two brothers, Riley Wagenknecht of Strawberry Point and Bailey Knutson of Independence; maternal grandparents, Bob and Rita Knutson of Rowley; paternal grandparents, Bruce (Cathy) Leitz of Cedar Falls and Mary (Mark) Holschlag of Waterloo; maternal great-grandmother, Ethel Sperfslage of Independence.

Preceded in death by: maternal great-grandparents, Richard Sperfslage, Allen and Marjorie Knutson; paternal great-grandparents, Marcella Leitz, Gordon (Norma) Leitz, Joseph and Hazel Lilleg.

Services: Private Family services will take place with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is charge of arrangements.
