Damon G. Peeples, 87, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Sunday, December 28, at Unity Point Health-Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

He was born September 29, 1927, in Quitman, Georgia, the son of Anna Mae (Jack) Adam. He married Lucille McNeal on October 6, 1968, in Waterloo.

Damon was employed in the foundry at John Deere, retiring September 1, 1985.

Survivors include: his wife, Lucille of Waterloo; a daughter, Sandra Peeples of Waterloo; a granddaughter, LaSha Peeples; a sister, Juanita Adam of Miami, Florida.

Preceded in death by his mother, Anna Mae Adam and step-father, Jack Adam.

Services: 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 2, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
