Marceline B. Bullis, 88 of Waterloo, died Tuesday, January 6, at Lakeview Landing.

She was born February 26, 1926, in Stickney, South Dakota, daughter of Matt F. and Rosa K. Kaus Bohr.

She married Robert C. Bullis on August 16, 1945 in Stickney, South Dakota. He died January 5, 2006.

She managed the Crossroads Hy-Vee delicatessen for sixteen years retiring in the 1980’s.

She is survived by five sons: Wayne E. (Kathy) of West Des Moines, Robert L. (Chris) of Lakewood, Colorado, Cecil R. (Irene) of Waterloo, Donald J. (Gail) of Winter Park, Florida, and Paul T. (Bridget) of Waterloo; two daughters, Rosemary (Rick) Amos of Waterloo and Betty (Mike) Murphy of Cedar Falls; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: 7 brothers, Frank, John, Raymond, George, Joseph, Walter and Lawrence; four sisters, Bertha, Julia, Anna, and Estella.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Sat., Jan. 10 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with entombment in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum. Public visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty - Waychoff - Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway where there will be a 4 p.m. Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation will continue for one hour before services at the church on Saturday.

Memorials: In Lieu of flowers. Cedar Valley Hospice, Cedar Harmony Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, Sacred Heart Music Department.

Marcie was a devout Catholic, she loved playing and singing music, she loved gardening, cooking, crocheting, and most of all her family & friends.
