Joseph Alan Larson

June 19, 1978 - March 3, 2015

Joseph Alan Larson, 36 of Gilbertville, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at his home.

He was born June 19, 1978 in Iowa City, Iowa, son of Tammi Lewis.

He married Christina L. Heminover on August 19, 2000 in Gilbertville.

Joe worked at Bertch Cabinet Manufacturing and was currently employed with John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works.

Survivors include: his wife; two sons, Easton and Jaxon at home; his mother, Tammi (Dwayne Kent) Larson of Waterloo; maternal grandmother, Jan Lewis of Evansdale; his father and mother in-law, David and Linda Heminover of Washburn; and a step-sister, Stacie (Dan) Loveless of Washburn.

Preceded in death by: his maternal grandfather, Donald Lewis.

Services will be on Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial in Sancta Maria Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary. Visitation will continue for one hour before services at the church on Saturday.
