December 22, 1940 - March 8, 2015

Jerome “Jerry” LaCrosse, 74, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Sunday, March 8, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born December 22, 1940 in Waterloo, the son of Francis and Grace Barnes LaCrosse. He married Karen Russell on July 28, 1962 in Waterloo.

Jerry was employed with John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 31 years, retiring in 1993.

Survivors include: his wife; a son, Scott (Kim) LaCrosse of Loudon, New Hampshire; two daughters, Michele (Tim) Way and Janean (Jeff) Craig, both of Hudson; six grandchildren, Mike (Alicia) and Danielle LaCrosse, Morgan and Tyler Way and Kortney and Logan Craig; and a sister, Mary (Gene) Becker of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his parents; and a nephew, Craig Becker.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Edward’s Catholic Church with inurnment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. vigil service. Visitation will continue at the church for one hour before services on Friday.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
